A representative pavilion of Korea, Gyeonghoeru Pavilion in Gyeongbokgung Palace will be open to visitors for seven months, from April 1 to October 31, 2015. This special tour is a great opportunity to access a building of the palace that is usually off limits. Visitors will be able to enjoy the magnificent surroundings and excellent architectural beauty of Gyeonghoeru Pavilion. The tour will be conducted three times daily on weekdays (10:00, 14:00, 16:00) and four times on weekends (10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 16:00), taking about 30 to 40 minutes for each tour. For protection of cultural heritage, the tour will be guided by a professional commentator for groups of up to 100 people (space for 80 Koreans, 20 foreigners) per session. The tour requires reservation but is free of charge, offering an explanation from a professional tour guide. The entrance fee for Gyeongbokgung Palace is a separate fee. Reservations for the tour can be made by telephone (+ 82-2-3700-3904, 3905) from one to six days in advance.
