The Korea Tourism Organization has arranged a special one-time tour program for foreign visitors happening April 1-2, 2015, by combining a traditional Korean cultural experience with hallyu. The program starts off by visiting SM Town to experience a holographic hallyu concert, and finishes by joining the Moonlight Tour at Changdeokgung Palace. This tour is sure to create a unique "time traveling" experience by encountering two different faces of Korea in one day: a modern K-pop concert mixed with the majestic aura of a traditional palace. A comprehensive hallyu experience hall, SM Town opened its doors to ardent hallyu fans in the beginning of this year. SM Town Studio, Celebrity Shop, Café, and a hologram concert hall feature many top K-pop stars, including EXO and Girls' Generation. Tour participants can enjoy a 45-minute holographic performance called Girl Story, starring Min-ho from SHINee and Yoona from Girls' Generation, as well as performances by other SM Entertainment artists. The special 3-dimensional technology employed are so advanced that it's easy to forget the artists in front of your eyes are not really there. The program is free of charge and will be recruiting a total of 30 foreign visitors through application screening, which will end on March 25, 2015. Participants will have to upload at least one review and photo taken during the program to their personal social media pages, as well as send the post contents in an email to kkkim59@knto.or.kr.
