Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival (late July/ early August)
In middle of summer, Incheon heats up with the world of rocks. Pentaport Rock Festival has been opened since 2006. The festival takes places normally in early August, in Penta Park, Songdo City. The lineup with overseas and local rock musicians for energetic sound is always made the fans looking forward to waiting for the festival. The last year’s headliner was Lee Seung-hwan, Kasabian, and Travis.

Citybreak(Early August)
Citybreak, the hottest festival in Korea, have the fantastic lineup not to disappoint the fans. Lately for 2 years, the festival invites famous musicians, such as Metalica, Muse, Ozzy Osborne, Maroon5. Etc. Although the festival has a short history, it become the most popular Rock festival in Korea, visited by 100,000 people. It is much cleaner festival than any other things to provide the comfortability for audiences with the motto, ”Clean &comfortable”. It is opened in Sangam Worldcup Stadium, Seoul for 2 days.

Supersonic(Middle of August)
Another urban festival, Supersonic, was spotlighted by casting the legendary Rockband ‘Queen with Adam Lambert’. By the reason of the success of Supersonic 2014, the festival has made a meteoric rise to one of the most popular Rock festivals. Last year, it held in Jamsil Olympic Stadium, Seoul for a day. Although the scale of the event is relatively smaller than any other festivals, it seems to be a good choice to someone who want to enjoy festivals because Supersonic may cast only the best musicians.

2. EDM(Electronic Dance Music)
EDM was one of maniac music a few years ago in Korea. However, the festival of EDM makes a new paradigm that anyone can enjoy EDM. World DJ Festival(Late May)
Last year, the 8th World DJ Festival(WDF) was open in late august, 2014. The festival was comprised of an open stage and two dorm stages. As it is the biggest scale in Korea, the audiences enjoy the festival with not only top DJs but also hip poppers. The last lineup in 2014 was included by musician, such as DJ Andrew Rayel, Tenishia, Code black and so on. WDF is held in Narukke festival park, Yang-pyeong, and has a plan to be opened in May.

Ultra Music Festival Korea(Middle of June)
Ultra Music Festival(UMF) is one the most influent music festival on genre of EDM. Ultra has expanded all over the world as a global brand UMF for hottest EDM lineup year after year. UMF Korea 2015 will be held in Seoul this June 12 to 13. Presently, the first lineup in 2015 was decided to the greatest DJs, David Guetta and Hardwell. Heineken Presents Stardium(Late September)
A word ‘Stardium’ look strange like wrong spelling, but it has a special meaning on a distinctive arrangement that the five stages put on the stadium in shape of stars.
